From the 30th June to 2nd July, in close proximity to the Black Sea Cost of Varna, a tolerance training was held for the voluntary clubs of Burgas and Shumen. In it took place more than 30 volunteers from the both cities between the age of 15-25.
Volunteers from Plovdiv and Blagoevgrad from 23rd to 25th June in Borovets took part in a collaborative training in the limit of 3 days. Around 30 high school and undergraduated students received new knowledge and skills needed in the fight of overcoming the anti-Roma stereotypes among young people. They exchanged experience and other practices from their countless voluntary activities until now.
Our training on volunteering* with local youngsters from Radnóti Miklós High School is near to the end and soon they will be ready to work on their own projects.
Today, 21 st may 2014 the volunteers of Antidiscrimination Club Youth is Tolerance EO gathered inside of Sociology and Social Work Faculty in order to celebrate the international day of cultural diversity and also to emphasize the importance of tolerance regarding the cultural diversity .
From 9 to 11 May 2014 business hotel "Accord" and the Bulgarian National Television (BNT), Sofia was held a workshop "Successful media presentation" It was attended by 10 young Roma professionals from across the country, among which were the youth coordinators Alexandra Kirilova, Angel Kochev and Velcho Mihalev who work on a project "Youth is tolerance" of Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance "Amalipe" and Denitza Georgieva – volunteer in the youth club Center "Amalipe" in Vratsa.The training was held in the framework of the "Combating anti-Roma sentiment from local to European level of "Association "Integro" - Razgrad.
